Little girl, Little gown
Little girl, little gown Days she wanders, and she frowns Watched her mother all the time Singing stories of her life How she loved and what it brought How she felt and what it brought Little sparkles in her eyes Holding tears to keep her(little girl) sane She ate well but felt guilt As she watched how it came Little girl, little gown So she wandered, so she wished Little girl, little gown Watched her mates in the car Watch their mums smile at them Life was cool, life was calm Little girl, little gown Little girl watched her mom Thrived for one more day to live Only for pennies, not worth the stress Little girl, little gown Thought of the stress her mate’s mom went through Little girl sad but accepted her fate Leaving this scene with what God left Her fate was childlike, simple, and strong She accepts the hard teachings of life Little girl, little gown Draws a line with what she sees Sowing a hopeful seed of faith
