Who runs this site

Allwell Writes (all-well-writes.com) is operated by Allwell Godwin, an individual based in Lagos, Nigeria, doing business as “Allwell Writes.” This policy explains what information is collected through the site and how it’s used.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you register an account, we store your name, email address, and (optionally) a profile bio and image. Passwords are stored as secure hashes, never in plain text.
• Newsletter subscription. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address and subscription status so we can send weekly issues and let you unsubscribe at any time.
• Activity on the site. If you’re signed in, comments, likes, and bookmarks you make are linked to your account so they can be displayed and managed.
• Contact form submissions. If you use the contact form, we receive whatever you submit (name, email, message) solely to respond to you.
• Aggregate site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service, to understand overall traffic patterns (e.g. which pages are popular). It does not track you individually across sites.

How we use this information

We use the information above only to operate the site: authenticating accounts, sending the newsletter to subscribers who asked for it, displaying comments/likes/bookmarks, responding to contact form messages, and understanding traffic at an aggregate level. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Third-party services we use

• Neon (PostgreSQL database) — stores the data described above.
• Resend — delivers newsletter and transactional emails on our behalf.
• Vercel — hosts the site and provides aggregate, cookieless web analytics.
• Cloudinary — may be used to host images/audio uploaded through the admin dashboard, if enabled.

Each of these providers processes data only as needed to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and security practices.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in if you have an account. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any newsletter email. You can request that your account and associated data be deleted by contacting us below.
