I’m tired
I’m tired of the lies I’m tired of the signs I’m tired of the sad joke to keep it from coming I’m tired of the sad cries that no one can see I’m tired of the games I’m tired of the belief I’m sane I’m tired of the messages Knowing it will never come true I’m tired of truth I only say goodbye with words I never leave, I’m always behind Looking for another opportunity to hear your voice again I never seem to see how love could be the only words I can’t explain All the stories and how I feel Till you need my thoughts on another guy It's only sane and sure to dream Cause that’s when I know you are for me I died a hundred times with words Words of how I feel Words when you ask me about him. I’m tired of sorry and goodbyes I’ve died enough I need a sign I’ve come to hear from stallion’s mouth with word I’ve never heard before with words ‘I love you’, ‘I love you, but’, Or ‘I thought we were friends’, With your voice that makes me… And I thought I could sing… Whatever words you choose Will stop my heart from drowning Or kill it instead Either way, I know I’m free from me But not from you
