Delilah

By AllwellJuly 23, 20261 min read

The one love I made mine Has become my torment That one door shot for years was opened to welcome a prison One that makes unalive slowly and painful One that laughs when it sees failure Like it was her plan all along Abandoned home chiefs and lands To be with death Turned against shelter, clothing and water to be with the one who pushes to sleep I had known no one till I met this fowler Yet, feel it's worth the pain I have met my sweet slow sleep Yet wish to keep her So mesmerizing and hypnotic I wonder why, where and how I have met a witch I have met Delilah One so cruel with love by her left hand
