Waiting
I, one in a million soul I, a thousand and one mysteries I have seen knowledge and understood it I have the world at the back of my head I waited for so long I dared the stars Only wishes and dreams I am yet to start I have seen this life I have held my griefs I have lost my heart Not so many times But I wish to see him here with me Not trust to lose a part of me My merry heart is scared to see Another part that hurts my being I really want what love can see But not only in ecstasy Born with love and raised with care I’ve grown to be a cheerful mind I’m scared of what the world will bring But open to what a mind can speak I come in peace with love at source I don’t know who destiny is But when I find the truth to be I will pour out my heart to him So many days So many words I will await them day by day I will call my heart to peace instead Than go to meet one that is dark My love and humor I have shared Will bring to me that man indeed For love and care I lost from him I will regain from another with ease
