Not anymore

By AllwellOctober 12, 20262 min read

I used to be skinny, blonde, and happy. I could work in a room and know I am free. And can move everywhere Just me and my love for ice cream I could play for days and nights. Knowing fully well I will start all over again from tomorrow I could sing with my terrible voice. Knowing that I would be praised for it regardless of how it sounded But now, I can only look back. Wish and wander, what went wrong? I could only hope that time would pity me. Now I have 2 limbs protruding out of my body. Not one man will pass without staring. I have a buttock twice its little size. That I can’t walk freely I have shoulders as high Hips as curvy I look like a mannequin Like those that I saw years back on TV Every man, animal, and spirit wants some of me. How many treasures may I have to give? Now I walk into the room with freight and tremble. Everyone, telling me about the trauma passed by the same opposite sex I played with all my life. Now I have no one to love except my household. Now I can’t talk to him in peace without his need for something else Sometimes I feel pity. Sometimes I feel what he feels. But both could harm me in so many ways... so they say So I wait, wish, and hope. But looking back I can only dream. But I can’t Not anymore
