My Loss

By AllwellJuly 23, 20261 min read

You take your shame And make it mine I defended it I took your pain and made it ours I felt it What do you have for me? You only pursue good things But the map to the treasure chest You shred to pieces Part of the reason i'm worried sad and trying is that I can't afford to see you hurt Yet when I fail You are my biggest critic You call the names of people I'm far better than People who despise you And compare them to someone committed to your forever happiness You don't even know what you want You just want the best and you don't even know what "The Best" is It pains me every day that I have to work for no appreciation No compensation No companion Still, I don't care I also have worries But I put yours first Cause love is foolishness But yet, nothing to gain Rather you give me reasons to wish you were gone, probably you could change, or I knew you earlier Why is it never enough
