On Grief, an unending punishment
The world hurts; we all know, and when it hurts bad, it comes sweet and settles in our hearts and minds later becoming the enemy. We know those stories, and it won't stop. Grief is valid but draining. It's easy to hurt someone, but to forgive is a problem. ## What no one tells you
Grief shows up in unexpected places: in the mall, in the face of a friend, in an elderly environment, and more. You just hate the feeling; you don't know why everything and everyone doesn't seem to click anymore. It may be your personality or something within you that you haven't let go of just yet.
It's all good; no matter how you try, you can't be normal anymore, and no one is asking you to. But you can make that an experience; see anyone trying to use such tricks as a child, even if they are way older. Smile, take a coffee, and bounce it off of them. That is what it means to move on.
Writing through it
Several of the poems in the *Healing* and *Hope* collections on this site came directly out of that season. You can also write out the situation and cry about it, tear it apart, and have some great fun.
One thing that truly helped my emotions, thoughts, and mindset is writing things down, even as far as achieving my goals. Do so too; i am certain this will truly help
Burdens are parasites that can eat up a forest if not managed properly.
